Ainda detesto Best-Sellers, mesmo assim não sou mais cult. Descobri isso lendo quase duas mil paginas de livros mais vendidos do mundo, até descobrir um grande autor. Um livro de cem páginas dividido em três contos do meu “xará”, Gustav Flaubert. Aquilo me impressionou e deixei de gostar de passa-tempos para buscar literatura mais indescritível. Best-Sellers, salvo raríssimas exceções, não conseguiram me despertar esse frisson que senti ao ler A Lenda de Saint Julien Hospedeiro. Um conto de trinta e poucas páginas, totalmente imprevisível e surpreendentemente narrado me fez ter raiva de previsíveis mil e tantas páginas gramaticalmente, hollywoodianamente, escolasticamente, academicamente, literalmente, artesanalmente bem esquematizadas. Apenas com o devir poético, o devir da inspiração, um “quê” de mistério e grande bocado de pasteurização. Aliás, Viva Pasteur! Viva a Rotativa! Viva esse homem que submerge dessa imbeciliçazão escancarada. A rara inspiradora literatura a qual me refiro não foi e nem é das mais vendidas até hoje. Só dos Antônios, Tekhekov, Artaud, Lobo Antunes...
